Preschool leadership team

  • Kelley Savage

    Interim Director

Hi, my name is Kelley Savage. I am the current assistant director at The Preschool at Point Washington. I have been working here since January of 2016 and have had the pleasure to experience teaching in each of our classrooms. I’ve loved each age group that I’ve taught, but always wanted to work my way up the ladder to administration. When the opportunity presented itself to advance, I was blessed to have been given the chance to help lead the preschool.

A little bit of background about myself…I received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Troy University in 2013. From there, I went on to receive a master’s degree from The University of West Florida in health promotion/worksite wellness. This degree allowed me to be accepted into an internship program in Nashville, TN with one of the leading operators of general acute care hospitals, Community Health Systems. Although I loved my job, family is extremely important to me, and in 2015 I decided to move back to my hometown (Fort Walton Beach) to be closer to them and my boyfriend at the time. Fast forward three years and I’m now married to that amazing man, Michael, we bought our first house last year, and I’m a mom to a three-year-old English Springer Spaniel named Chap. We love FSU football and traveling any chance we get.

I love working with children and I know God brought me into this path. I come to work knowing that these little human beings are teaching me more than I could ever teach them. I am so blessed to work with your children and all children that come through the doors at The Preschool at Point Washington.

  • Stephanie Sparkman

    Assistant Director

Howdy! My name is Stephanie Sparkman and I am the assistant director for The Preschool at Point Washington. I would like to take some time to tell you a little bit about myself.

I was born and raised in Texas and graduated from Texas A&M University where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Special Education. In Texas, I ran a non-profit that advocated for and supported individuals with Down syndrome. Later, I moved to Wyoming where I then taught early childhood special education. My husband, Allen and I now reside in Florida where we enjoy going to the beach and spending time with our Australian Shepherd, Beau Barkman.

I am looking forward to getting to know you and your families. I know that God has a plan and it is a good plan. I look forward to shining His light and providing the right start for your child’s early education.
