If you are the parent of a middle school student, please take the time to watch the video below. This is the promo video for our upcoming Middle School Believe Retreat. I hope that the video will answer some questions that you may have about the conference and get you excited to send your child on the retreat.

The Believe Retreat will take place March 8-10. We will leave on the 8th after school gets out. The 8th is an early release day,so we will have plenty of time to make it to Kissimmee. There is no school on Friday,March 9 so the students will not miss any time from school. We will return the evening of Saturday,March 10. The Believe Conference is the best middle school event that I have ever taken any of my students to in my 13 years of youth ministry. The event is specifically for middle schoolers with middle school intentional teaching, music, worship, activities, experiences, and entertainment. This is one of those “mountain top experiences” where students will grow in their enthusiam to know God better and come back ready to go to a deeper level in their relationship with Him. For extra fun and excitement we will spend the morning and afternoon of the 9th at Universal’s Islands of Adventure Theme Park! We have plenty of caring leaders chaperoning the trip (youth director: Paul Barnett, Tess Cox, Pam Hundley, and Wesley Sunday) and we will be staying at a 3 star hotel in a great part of Kissimmee. Cost for the trip is $129 if you sign up and pay a $50 deposit by February 2. After that it goes up to $149 if there is still room. I am trying to gauge how many hotel suites we need and if you are thinking about signing you child up for the trip, please let Paul know when you know. The sooner that I know the better. I hope that you will consider having your child join us for this awesome experience. If you have any questions, please call Paul Barnett anytime at 461-4213. Also, if you have any friends with middle school aged children that may be interested, please share this with them.
