The Mission

"Helping develop thoughtful Christ followers."

The Vision

Connect-->Grow-->Go-->

We help develop thoughtful Christ followers by helping teenagers connect to Jesus and to others. We do this while helping them grow in their relationship with God as part of an intentional community of other Christ followers. As we all grow together we are helping our teenagers learn to go out to serve the world around them with the love of Jesus.

 "... I have written to you young men and women, because you are strong, and the work of God abides in you, and you have overcome the evil one." 1 John 2:14, NASB95

 The family of God gathered at Point Washington United Methodist Chruch has an abiding love for the next generation of men and women God has placed in our care. We believe that the love of God can be demonstrated in our lives and we work to live out the life of love in front of the youth of our community.

Our youth ministry is very active with many opportunities for spiritual growth and for fun times together. The ministry team is made up of church ministry staff, parents and other member ministers working together to build a sure foundation for living into each and every one of the pre-teen and teens that God Almighty has entrusted to us

 "Let our sons in their youth be as grown-up plants, and our daughters as corner pillars fashioned as for a palace...."  Psalm 144:12, NASB95

YOU WILL HAVE FUN HERE.

YOU WILL GROW IN THE LORD HERE.

YOU WILL MAKE LIFE LONG FRIENDS HERE.

this week @Powash youth

Hello Parents,

This week @ PoWash Youth will consist of our mid-week programs (including Small Groups for 7th-12th grade and Club 56 for 5th & 6th grade) and our High School Winter Retreat this weekend. Be sure to check below for details on each of these events and if there is any way that we can help your child get plugged in, please feel free to call or text me anytime at 850-461-4213.

Also, please remember that this Wednesday is the final day of our "Penny Wars" between our Small Groups. Each group is collecting money (coins, cash, or checks) which will go toward the church's upcoming building project that will provide the youth with more space for greater ministry. The Small Group that collects the most will get to plan a Wednesday for their group to do whatever they would like to do (pizza party, game night, out for ice cream, etc.).  If you would like to help in this effort, please send your donation with your child tomorrow or you can hand deliver it to me and I will make sure it is credited to your child's Small Group collection. Any amount helps!
