TO KNOW CHRIST; TO LOVE CHRIST; TO MAKE THE LOVE OF CHRIST KNOWN

CHILDREN's ministry

"Train up a child in the way "they" should go. Even when "they " are old "they" will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6, NASB95 "

...Jesus said, "Let the little children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to Me, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Matthew 19:14, NASB95

"I am writing you, little children, because your sins have been forgiven you for His name's sake." 1 John 2:12, NASB95

At Point Washington United Methodist Church we believe as the Scripture teaches, our children can impact our community and the world for God

When we begin, at home, with loving parents teaching the Word of God, the support of the church family amplifies the parents efforts and brings about a fulfillment of Proverbs 22.

We have seen the fruit of the efforts of our teachers to build the heart of the Scriptures into the children God has entrusted to this gathering of His people. We instill kindness, service, and gratitude in all the children we interact with.

There are many wonderful opportunities for children and their parents at PWUMC. Join us.

PoWash Kids After school Program Continues

We are excited to announce that Sierra Wolfe has accepted the position of Interim Leader of PoWash Kids! Ms. Wolfe will begin her work next Monday, October 8th. Sierra comes to us from The Preschool at Point Washington where she currently serves as the two-year-old teacher. Prior to working with The Preschool at Point Washington, Sierra was a manager and teacher at TLC Kids Care in Freeport and a teacher at Beginnings Preschool in Santa Rosa Beach. In addition, Sierra has been a nanny for several families and works with Babysitters At The Beach. Sierra feels called to work with children and is enrolled in college in order to obtain her Bachelor’s degree so that she can teach. After hearing about the opening for an interim leader for PoWash Kids, she jumped at the opportunity. In her own words, Sierra writes, “I am so excited and blessed to say that I will be the PoWash Kids leader; and I am looking forward to getting to know everyone and grow with them in our journey with God. We are going to have so much fun!” Sierra has been an active member of Freeport Presbyterian Church for the past 6 years. What a delight to welcome Sierra Wolfe as she leads our PoWash Kids through the fall!
